She Walked on Stage And Melkweg Exploded. Isabel LaRosa Live

Updated: 1 day ago

The room was packed. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Melkweg Max in Amsterdam, Isabel LaRosa took the stage for her Psychopomp Tour and delivered a live experience that was both gritty and luminous. According to her setlists, she has been opening shows with tracks like “older”, followed by crowd-favorites such as “Pretty Boy” and “Good Girl”.

As a concert photographer, this was one of those nights you live for. The venue was sold out. On stage sat a small riser — enough so that Isabel was elevated just that bit higher, making her fully visible from all corners of the packed hall. Her vocals were powerful, and she moved across the stage with sharp, expressive choreography. You could see it in her posture, her expression, the way the light caught her silhouette against the backdrop: performance meets raw energy.

Walking through the crowd with camera gear, I sometimes apologised mid-walk (“sorry, sorry”), politely steering around eager fans, because I knew my mission: to document this live moment, to give her the platform in the Dutch media she deserves, and to let those favourite idol-moments shine in stills. The audience, thankfully, understood: they’re there to witness and share, and photographers like myself are part of that ecosystem.

From the first chords to the last echo, the set had momentum. Imagine the intimate whisper of “I’m yours” mixed with the harder edges of “Muse” or “Haunted”. And imagine that in a hall where every face is turned toward the stage, anticipation in the air, silhouettes moving. That was my frame to capture: the lighting in staccato bursts, the motion of her performance, the hush between songs and the roar when the beat dropped.

Leaving the venue, gear in hand, I felt gratitude: for getting access, for the crowd’s energy, and for having the chance to freeze moments that will live beyond that night. For you reading this post: see the shots and feel the electricity. Because that night, in Amsterdam, Isabel LaRosa owned it.
