Sunshine, over 50.000 visitors and unforgettable performances
Bevrijdingspop Haarlem 2025 delivered everything a music lover and photographer could wish for: an electric atmosphere, record-breaking crowds, and no rain. As the busiest edition ever, the festival turned the Haarlemmerhout into a vibrant celebration of freedom — and I had the honor of capturing it all through my lens.

50.000 visitors and perfect weather
This year’s Bevrijdingspop welcomed an incredible 50.000 visitors, making it the most attended edition to date. From early afternoon until the final encore, the sun shone brightly. Not a single drop of rain interrupted the festivities — just blue skies, music, and joy.
Capturing the Energy: From the Photo Pit to the Crowd
I had the chance to shoot both from the official photo pit and among the crowd, which allowed me to experience the festival from multiple angles. Whether I was up close with the artists or surrounded by dancing fans, the energy was contagious and inspiring.

Highlights: A Lineup Full of Talent
Here are some of the artists I photographed throughout the day:
Roxy Dekker lit up the stage with her energetic presence and charisma.
Rhondé delivered a powerful performance that had the crowd singing along.
Bente was mesmerizing, combining soulful vocals with a strong connection to the audience.
Every artist brought something special — and it was a privilege to document these moments in real time.

A Festival to Remember
The atmosphere was everything you’d hope for at a freedom celebration: open, warm, and connected. People of all ages came together to enjoy the music, the sunshine, and the feeling of being part of something meaningful.
